B’nei Mitzvah Fundraising
Our ‘B'nei Mitzvah Fundraising’ opportunity is designed for anyone who wants to give their guests an opportunity to donate to JCN in lieu of gifts for their bar/batmitzva.
The Jewish Climate Network is community-funded, meaning we rely on the generosity of individuals & families like you who share our values and care about our mission.
What’s the process?
1. REGISTER INTEREST
Click here to register your interest and details so we can start building your batmi/barmi fundraising page.
2. PAGE CREATION
We will create a dedicated & tailored fundraising page for you, with a link that you can share with your guests (See example).
3. INVITE LINK
Once the page has been built, we recommend including a sentence on your invitation that outlines the family’s request of donations to JCN in lieu of gifts. You can then add the bespoke link or QR code to your invites, offering your guests an easy way to support JCN on your behalf!
4. FUNDRAISING SUCCESS!
Once your bat/batmitzva is over, we will get in touch to let you know exactly how much was donated to JCN on your behalf and will send you a special certificate in recognition of your incredible fundraising efforts.

Where does our money go?
By directing your Batmi/Barmi fundraising efforts towards JCN, you are supporting JCN to work with Australian Jewish organisations, businesses, schools and the community at large, with urgently needed education, resources and tools to respond to climate change.
