This year, put the issue on the table.

The best science tells us that we must peak emissions by 2025 to avoid the worst impacts of climate change. The choice is before us, but we can only choose it this decade. Our parents did not have this choice, because they didn’t have the capital, technologies and understanding. And for our children, it will be too late.

THIS IS THE DECADE, AND WE ARE THE GENERATION.

Every year, as Jews we ask the questions that matter, and retell our story and hopes for the future.

By putting an ice block on your Seder table this year, you help re-enliven this Festival of Freedom with this crucial topic that has much to say about our freedoms and future.

I'M IN! HOW DO I DO IT?

Place an ice block on your Seder table this year for all to see and get the conversation going. We have provided a short passage to read aloud, to prompt thinking and discussion. There is an optional activity for those who are looking for more.

  • Register your Seder.
  • Download and print the resource to read aloud on the night.
  • Make an ice block, and place it on your Seder table.
  • Feel proud - you are helping to bring all our wisdom, our thinking and all our might to this challenge.

GREAT, WHAT NEXT?

If you want to take the Seder conversation into further action, learmore about climate change, take action or consider: How can I use my talents, networks and resources to effect the most change?

ABOVE ALL, WE ASK OURSELVES:

HOW WILL WE MAKE THIS DECADE DIFFERENT TO ALL OTHER DECADES?
