Rebecca is Associate Professor (Practice) in Community Engagement and Intercultural Communication at the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation at Monash University. She is responsible for leading the ACJC’s public and community engagement programs, developing new initiatives and partnerships across the community, professional bodies and creative industries. Previously, Rebecca was Director & CEO of the Jewish Museum of Australia, where she led the Museum through a decade of significant organisational development and creative regeneration. In 2018, Rebecca was “awakened” to the urgency and gravity of the climate emergency. Determined to leverage her years of experience and professional networks in the Jewish community, she co-founded the Jewish Climate Network to connect fellow Jews emotionally to the climate emergency and inspire them to take meaningful and effective action.
